Fairway Solitaire, the bane of my sleep

After being recently featured on www.penny-arcade.com, I decided to try Fairway Solitaire. It's another one of those fusion solitaire games where the basic game of solitaire is mutated into another form of addiction. Similar to how there are different versions of irresistable brownies, however this falls in league with the special kind of brownies. The gameplay is basically golf themed, where you go through a golf course as a session. With different golf terminology used in the game like having birdies, eagles, double bogies, etc... It also has the 2 traps that golfers love to hate, sand traps and water traps. But how does it actually play? Well if you are familiar with solitaire, like the millions of other bored office workers, it's fairly the same rules but rather than collecting the cards on the table , your goal is to knock off cards out of play. It's a fairly easy concept to understand that is better off trying than explaining.

However be warned of it's addicting properties! You will lose sleep over this as you try to hit objectives, and getting more money for that golfing apparel you want. You can try the full game for 1 hour through BigFish Games.

Disgaea forever! ...dood!

When Nippon Ichi Software developed Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, it hit the shelves of game stores everywhere with a new twist to RPG tactical gaming. I warn you, this game is addicting with it’s upbeat music which ties in perfectly into it’s wacky and outrageous storyline and art not to mention this game has hours upon hours of well spent game play. The characters in this story are utterly genius as the creators’ team up a short tempered, self centered, young demon overlord named Laharl, a sharp tongued, scantily clad, loyal demon servant named Etna, and a kind hearted, naïve, love obsessed angel named Flonne. Together they travel across the Netherworld defeating any monsters that would get in the way of Laharl’s title as the Overlord.

I Recommend Pixel Junk Monsters: Encore

Pixel Junk Monsters: Encore is a must have for all you pixel junk monster fans out there. Even people who have not tried Pixel Junk monsters, I would definitely recommend that they go buy a PS3 then download Pixel Junk Monsters and Pixel Junk Monsters: Encore. Yes, it is that awesome, considering that everyone I have let play the game got hooked the moment they started. For those who are wondering what Pixel Junk Monsters is about, it is a Tower Defense game(a game where you place different towers that fire arrows, rocks, ice, etc... at a group of monsters moving on a predetermined path)

Laser towers shooting at them pesky fliers

Another great thing about Pixel Junk Monsters is that there is nice artistic direction to the games, where every artistic element of the game falls into place so naturally with one anotther.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning
